Drift dives with eagle rays, mantas, turtles, sharks and giant groupers are also on the itinerary.

During WWII, The Blue Lagoon Resort grounds were utilized by The Imperial Japanese Command. Many wartime relics and structures remain today; including armament and defensive “pillboxes”. Sipadan Water Village is a resort beautifully constructed with Bajau architectural design. Part of the Mabul Island is also home to groups of Bajau fishermen who have built their traditional palm thatched houses. The entire resort is built over water on stilts.
