Entebbe – Murchison Falls National Park – Northern Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
8 Days / 7 Nights
Discover the extraordinary beauty of Uganda, often called the Pearl of Africa, on this unforgettable journey through dramatic landscapes, rich wildlife habitats and ancient rainforests.
Your adventure begins in Murchison Falls National Park, where the powerful Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge before plunging into the river below. Game drives across the northern savannah reveal elephants, lions, giraffes and buffalo, while a scenic boat safari along the Nile brings you close to hippos, crocodiles and the base of the spectacular falls.
On the southern edge of the park lies Budongo Forest, home to one of East Africa’s largest populations of chimpanzees. Here you will trek through lush tropical forest in search of these fascinating primates, observing their lively social behaviour in their natural habitat.
Continue south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife areas. Game drives across the Kasenyi Plains offer excellent chances of spotting lions, elephants and antelope, while a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel reveals huge concentrations of hippos, buffalo and waterbirds along the shoreline.
The journey then takes you to the remote Ishasha Sector, renowned for its unique tree-climbing lions. Seeing these impressive predators resting high in fig trees is a rare and unforgettable wildlife experience.
Your safari concludes in the ancient rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the endangered mountain gorilla. Trek through dense jungle in the Buhoma sector for the incredible opportunity to spend time with a habituated gorilla family — an emotional and once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounter.
This itinerary combines Uganda’s most iconic wildlife experiences with breathtaking scenery, creating the perfect adventure for nature lovers and safari enthusiasts.

With warm ocean temperatures typically ranging between 25 and 30°C — and most often a comfortable 28–29°C — conditions are ideal for extended time in the water, whether wearing a light wetsuit or simply enjoying the warmth of the Indian Ocean.
The waters around the island are renowned for their exceptional clarity, with visibility often exceeding 40 metres during the season. This allows divers to fully appreciate the dramatic drop-offs, vibrant coral formations and the rich marine life that inhabits these pristine reefs.

Along the way, keep an eye out for the island’s fascinating birdlife, tropical plants and marine surroundings.
Another memorable excursion takes you to nearby Bijoutier Island, a small, untouched paradise known for its quiet beaches and crystal-clear waters. Here you can stroll along deserted shores, swim in calm lagoons and learn about the life cycle of sea turtles, as this island is an important nesting site. With a bit of luck, you may also spot the nesting burrows of the wedge-tailed shearwater hidden within the forest.
For those seeking a more adventurous experience, the famous flats of the Alphonse Group offer some of the finest saltwater fly-fishing in the Indian Ocean. Accompanied by expert guides from Alphonse Fishing Co., you can wade across vast white-sand flats in search of bonefish and other prized species that inhabit these rich waters.
