Day 1: KwaZulu Natal South Coast
Meet and Greet services Durban airport, transfer to hotel.
Day 2: KwaZulu Natal South Coast
Experience two thrilling dives at the world-famous Aliwal Shoal, where vibrant reefs and abundant marine life await beneath the surface. For the ultimate adrenaline rush, join a seasonal baited tiger shark dive and come face to face with one of the ocean’s most iconic predators. After returning to the hotel around lunchtime, the afternoon is yours to relax or explore at your own pace.
Day 3: KwaZulu Natal South Coast
Enjoy two exciting dives in the warm Indian Ocean, exploring vibrant reefs and diverse marine life. After returning to the hotel around lunchtime, the rest of the afternoon is free to relax or explore the surroundings at your own pace.
Day 4: Hluhluwe
After breakfast, depart on a scenic three-hour road transfer to St Lucia National Park. There, enjoy a two-hour boat cruise in search of hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife along the waterways. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Emdoneni Lodge for the next stage of your adventure.
Day 5: Sodwana Bay
Start the day with an early morning breakfast before joining a fascinating two-hour introduction to Zulu culture. Later in the morning, take part in the Emdoneni cheetah and wild cat tour to learn more about these remarkable predators. Afterwards, continue by road transfer to Sodwana Bay for the next part of your journey.
Day 6 & 7: Sodwana Bay
Enjoy two spectacular dives each day in Sodwana Bay, exploring its pristine reefs, warm waters, and incredible diversity of tropical marine life in one of South Africa’s top dive destinations.
Day 8: Thanda Safari
Begin the day with an early morning dive, followed by breakfast before departing for the Hluhluwe area. Arrive in time for an afternoon or early evening game drive in search of the iconic Big Five.
Day 9 & 10: Thanda Safari
Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives, maximizing your chances of spotting the Big Five and experiencing the diverse wildlife of the reserve throughout these days.
Day 13: End of Itinerary
Set out on an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Afterwards, depart on a three-hour road transfer to Durban airport in time for your international departure.
