Explore vibrant coral reefs, dramatic walls and underwater plateaus while encountering a wide variety of marine life. After the dive, the team will take care of rinsing and storing all equipment, allowing you to relax and enjoy the rest of your day on the island.

Day 3: Alphonse Island

A full day to enjoy all the island has to offer, from snorkelling or diving in the vibrant coral reefs to exploring the island by bicycle, joining a guided nature walk or simply relaxing on the pristine beaches.

Day 4: Alphonse Island

Today offers another opportunity to discover the remarkable underwater world surrounding Alphonse Island. With warm ocean temperatures typically ranging between 25 and 30°C — and most often a comfortable 28–29°C — conditions are ideal for extended time in the water, whether wearing a light wetsuit or simply enjoying the warmth of the Indian Ocean.

The waters around the island are renowned for their exceptional clarity, with visibility often exceeding 40 metres during the season. This allows divers to fully appreciate the dramatic drop-offs, vibrant coral formations and the rich marine life that inhabits these pristine reefs.

While ocean conditions can vary slightly with tides and winds, the experienced dive team carefully plans each excursion to ensure the best possible visibility and diving experience, allowing you to make the most of every moment beneath the surface.

Day 5: Alphonse Island

Today is dedicated to discovering the many experiences Alphonse Island has to offer, both on land and at sea.

Begin with a guided cycle tour across the island, an enjoyable way to explore its diverse landscapes and hidden corners. Accompanied by knowledgeable guides, you will ride along forest trails and coastal paths while learning about the island’s history — from its early settlers to its transformation from indigenous forest to coconut plantation. Along the way, keep an eye out for the island’s fascinating birdlife, tropical plants and marine surroundings.

Another memorable excursion takes you to nearby Bijoutier Island, a small, untouched paradise known for its quiet beaches and crystal-clear waters. Here you can stroll along deserted shores, swim in calm lagoons and learn about the life cycle of sea turtles, as this island is an important nesting site. With a bit of luck, you may also spot the nesting burrows of the wedge-tailed shearwater hidden within the forest.

For those seeking a more adventurous experience, the famous flats of the Alphonse Group offer some of the finest saltwater fly-fishing in the Indian Ocean. Accompanied by expert guides from Alphonse Fishing Co., you can wade across vast white-sand flats in search of bonefish and other prized species that inhabit these rich waters.

Whether exploring by bicycle, discovering neighbouring islands or venturing out onto the flats, today offers a variety of ways to experience the natural beauty and unique wildlife of Alphonse.

Day 6: Alphonse Island

The central dining and bar area provides a relaxed setting where guests can gather and socialize beside the sparkling pool and the shoreline. Here, a variety of dishes inspired by the island’s atmosphere are served, complemented by a carefully curated wine list.

Menus focus on freshness, featuring locally sourced fish, indigenous ingredients and produce from the island’s gardens. Influenced by Seychellois Creole and French culinary traditions, the cuisine reflects flavours from across the Indian Ocean.

In addition to the main restaurant, private dining experiences can be arranged, allowing guests to enjoy meals on the terrace of their Beach Bungalow or Beach Suite, in a secluded spot on the beach, or beside the pool.
